Well some of you know that I bought a 1984 Dodge Ramcharger, and that the guy who I bought it from knowingly sold it to me with a cracked block. He was real slick on that one.Oh well, I learned a bit with that one on trading around here and what people are to be trusted and how far.? Anyway I put an add in Craigslist and decided to wait like I always say "by and by" for something to turn up in the right price range. Well a guy emailed me with an offer. It was an 80's Dodge 440ci. motor home motor. The price was only five hundred dollars and the accessories and transmission was included. It sounded like a ready to run outfit. Changes would be the motor mounts, the exhaust and a few little wireing and plumbing things. Well the jury's out, I'm waiting on some pictures this morning. I'm real tempted, but then I think of what changes in the MPG will be? Probably the same or less, I'm guessing a little less.
I guess my mind is running overtime.
